Summary: River wants the Doctor but he dismisses her advances. If only he could explain to her why. T for the advances and the discussion that follows.
Warnings/Notes: Written for dw_allsorts community.  Prompt was Tropes: Tentacles

River was extraordinarily young this time around.

Disclaimer: The Doctor and all other characters mentioned do not belong to me. No profit made from this work, no infringement intended.
Notes: I wanted to do a sick!fic but not the normal little Melody, little Amy or Rory kind. So I did a timey-wimey one instead. Hope you liked it! Reviews most welcome.

"Let's go visit River," blurted out Amy suddenly.

"River? River River?" spluttered the Doctor, clearing his throat and missing a lever as he tried to nonchalantly lean against the console.

43) See Me

Summary:
The 12th Doctor goes to his Ponds when he leaves Clara to choose his new outfit.
Notes: Fair warning, the pain meds are still muddling things on my part, but I think this makes sense, or I hope it does, though I probably should've sent it to be beta'd at the end, but I wanted to get it out before the new episode aired, so there probably are mistakes and things that make no sense, because it takes me thrice as long to concentrate & write at the moment, & it's really hard, but I'll fix it when I'm clearer-headed if it needs it...

Anyway, this is my response to Deep Breath, so SPOILER WARNING if you've yet to see it from here on out.

What made absolutely no sense to me the entire episode of Capaldi's debut (he's amazing, by the way), is that Clara is the one companion out of all of them who had no right to be affected by a new Doctor's face, because she's seen them all, & at the very least 3 that she absolutely remembers. So, she, in my opinion, shouldn't have needed the big adjustment period & especially that phone call from the previous Doctor, which no other companion ever got who hadn't seen multiple forms of him already, that undermined the rest of the "accept me as the Doctor" episode. Amendment to this: I understand the whole "companion is the audience" sentimentality, I just think in this case, Clara should've been the one convincing the Paternoster Gang he was still the same man, using their own lives as parallels, as opposed to them needing to convince her. That said, it's done, whatever, moving on.
Here's a bit of Pond/12 fluff, where he chooses his new outfit. Yes, I know he said goodbye to Amy in Time of the Doctor, but just enjoy the story. Parts of the end dialogue are purposely left speaker-less, because I believe it doesn't matter who says it, they all would or could & you could choose. And again, ignore the medicated rambling of the author, & enjoy. Ooh, and review, if you'd like.

The TARDIS landed noisily as she always did, right into River's back garden.

Summary: Tabetha and Augustus Pond are excited to meet their granddaughter and attend her graduation. They just have to figure out how to get to her first, as only Ponds can do.
Notes: This loosely relates to "That Woman is my Daughter," but can be taken either a one-shot or part two of a three-shot. Please enjoy and review!

After revealing the truth about their daughter and her non- childhood, it was easy for Amy to extend River's graduation invitation to the eager first- time grandparents.

Notes: Just some humour to offset the recent angsty chapters. Enjoy! As always, reviews greatly appreciated.

Summary: River has a certain habit she maintains around her husband. What happens when this time, her husband isn't the only one affected? Includes Amy, Rory, Martha, Donna, Jack, Canton, Mickey, and Rose. Rated T for the premise itself, as well as insinuations. One- shot, though universe may grow.

A/N- I don't know why this idea amused me so, nor why I chose these particular characters to participate, but it did and I did so that's that. Warning in advance- this borders on downright saucy. As always, reviews (especially about character work) appreciated. No context for this story, just assume it's in roughly the same universe as "Not so Strange Bedfellows." Thank you to the wonderful morganfm for the beta and for helping me clarify any confusion from the original post!  Have fun...

A/N- Random short piece of humour and fluff for you based off the thought I had that the Doctor never overreacts. Or so he would claim. Space Gandalf is a reference to a tag scene from from Series 5 (look up series 5 minisodes and you should find it).  Have fun...

Summary: Ten, Eleven, and River have to share a bed, and each at different points have trouble sleeping. Here is how each of them react to restlessness, and how they all deal with it. One- shot so far. T for River flirting.

A/N:Okay, so basically I had the ridiculously funny and happy thought of Ten and Eleven sharing a bed, and Eleven slapping Ten repeatedly in the face as he reached for River but got the wrong bedmate. This came out of that thought, and turned into something else entirely. May become more, may stay a one- shot. I have most of the whos, some of the whats, but none of the whys to grow this story, so for this one- shot, lets assume younger River, older Ten, married Eleven.

Reviews greatly appreciated, along with any suggestions.

“And how exactly is this going to work?”

“It’s quite simple, Sweetie.  This,” said River, gesturing around her, “is your room.”

A/N- Consider this my apology for the tears of the previous chapter.  Please review.

“Okay, tell me now- why did you do it?” commanded a very stern River, as she marched into the room, arms crossed as she glared at her father.

Rory looked up from the monitor, where he’d been keeping an eye on Amy and the Doctor, bumbling sheepishly and refusing to answer.

“But where would Gallifrey be?”  Clara asked, excited but unsure.

“Frozen.  Frozen in an instant in time.  Safe and hidden away.”

“Exactly-“

“Like a painting,” the old war hero whispered.

“And that would work?” asked the sole human girl.

Here’s a bit of fluff to balance out the angst of the last few chapters.  Enjoy and review!

Amy enlisted River when she first thought about going into business to sell fragrances and make up.  River, after all, understood the science, and Amy understood the fashion.

A/N- Here is a series I’ve been working on for quite some time.  There are different stories, all part of the same series- The Tangled Web of Beauty.  This is the first in this series simply because it struck the right tone for a beginning.  I decided to upload this part because it’s ready to go- each “episode” will also have multiple chapters- all currently works in progress.  Due to the Timey Wimey nature of the Doctor and the Pond’s life- the order of the series doesn’t necessarily matter.  Also, very AU- in which Manhattan shall now be known as “that place the Doctor and Ponds went before they went to the pub and Amy and River schooled the boys at video games.”  There will be so much fluff, crazy random happenstances, and guest appearances in this story- so be prepared, and enjoy the ride, because I have so far.  Let me know what you think!

Amy and Rory were visiting River’s new residence- the Doctor had bought her one in several different centuries and she rotated regularly, having spent one life in Leadworth and much of this one in prison, she wasn’t one for being tied down to one specific location when she didn't feel like staying in Storm Cage.

They were surprised, however, when the TARDIS parked in the middle of the living room- River was preparing a special meal for them in the kitchen a few doors down in the spacious- well, they still called it a house.  Out came the Doctor in the middle of some kind of argument with a young barely- teenage girl.
